Kwik-Klik installed over 600 linear metres of temporary indoor PVC hoardings and partitions to help Glasgow’s Emirates Arena stage the prestigious Davis Cup tennis qualifiers in September 2022.
The vast multi-sport Glasgow Arena facility was converted into a single sport venue ready to host the 6-day televised international tennis tournament featuring Great Britain, Kazakhstan, Nederlands and USA.
1m high and 3m high adaptations of our best-selling indoor Freestanding hoarding system were used in 16 locations throughout Glasgow Arena to create temporary behind the scenes facilities for players, officials, coaching teams, TV crews, media and VIPs.
One of Kwik-Klik’s challenges was to create a 1m high perimeter for two temporary practice tennis courts which were created in the track centre of the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome as seen in the photographs.
Following a detailed technical acoustics and hoarding configuration survey, the giant sports hall adjoining the main event arena was transformed into segregated areas for three TV studios, media rooms, coach and officials quarters and VIP break out and refreshment areas.
Kwik-Klik’s experienced in-house Graphics team applied graphics featuring official logos and photographs throughout the installation and followed on seamlessly after the Kwik-Klik installation teams. Read more on Davis Cup graphics.
All components of our Freestanding PVC hoarding system are are re-usable. PVC off-cuts are 100% recyclable, delivering a sustainable solution for each project.
