Kwik-Klik’s experienced in-house Graphics team played a leading role in converting many areas of Glasgow’s Emirates Arena into the host venue for the prestigious 6-day Davis Cup tennis ties held in September 2022.
Over 700 square metres of large format graphics were expertly applied to Kwik-Klik PVC partitions which were mostly located behind the scenes, but they were seen by players, officials, coaching teams, TV crews, media, VIPs and spectators throughout the event.
Bespoke graphics with a premium finish
Large format graphics as seen above were specific to the event which featured competing teams from Great Britain, Kazakhstan, Nederlands and USA. Graphics were applied in 16 locations throughout the Emirates Arena complex.
The giant sports hall, adjacent to the main event arena, was repurposed to accommodate tournament officials, coaching teams, the media (including three TV studios which were broadcasting live during the event) and VIP break out areas.
Official tournament and sponsors’ logos were applied throughout the Arena to maintain the high level of brand consistency required for a world class event.
The Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome is also located withing the Emirates Area complex and the Kwik-Klik Graphics team added the finishing touches to transform the track centre into two practice tennis courts.
The fully branded practice court surrounds seen below await the arrival of some of the world’s leading tennis players.
Branded graphics were also created for the entrance area of Glasgow Emirates where spectators passed through before entering the main event arena.
Kwik-Klik’s Graphics team in Glasgow was led by Tony Stead throughout the 3-week planning process and the intensive 5-day installation. He worked closely with the event’s graphics studios to ensure all high resolution artwork, print and installation was delivered to the highest standards.
