Kwik-Klik installed 120 linear metres of Clip to Scaffold hoarding around the entrances of Evelina Children’s Hospital, built alongside St Thomas’ Hospital in central London.
Part of the hoarding was attached directly to the scaffolding frame around the 7-storey curved glass facade which allows daylight into the hospital. Our hoardings were also used to create a secure compound for the main contractors and other trades.
Robust and lightweight PVC panels were used to create a smooth run of hoarding which is ideal for fixing colourful and informative graphics. The bespoke graphics help visitors find their way into the hospital and explain the nature of the glass replacement work.
Clip to Scaffold panels are made from 100% recycled PVC and are re-usable.
Kwik-Klik Director, Jason Rayner says “This is another example of us responding to site conditions. We have safely attached hoarding panels directly to scaffold frameworks on numerous hospital and rail projects. This minimises the inconvenience to pedestrians and creates safe walkways into the site. The wayfinding graphics add an extra dimension to the usefulness of the hoarding.”
