Kwik-Klik’s experienced team were invited by the National Museum of the Royal Navy in Portsmouth to plan and install a 1.2m high Freestanding partition to guide vistors around restoration work aboard HMS Victory.
HMS Victory, launched in 1765, is the world’s oldest naval vessel still in commision. It was the flagship of the British Navy during the decisive Battle of Trafalgar in October 1805 under the stewardship of Vice-Admiral Lord Nelson.
The vessel is undergoing a 5 year refurbishment at Portmouth Historic Dockyard and the 1.2m high Kwik-Klik Freestanding partition will allow vistors to watch safely as expert carpenters are re-planking the ship’s hull.
The versatile modular Freestanding PVC system can be re-located and extended as required to re-route vistors around the deck as work progresses.
