Kwik-Klik’s Fire Rated system was used to create a series of inter-connected passenger tunnels through Moorgate station.
Working closely with London Underground Ltd, the Kwik-Klik team planned and installed a network of fire-rated passenger tunnels to convey passengers from the platforms to a new temporary tube station exit/entrance.
The hoarding design helped to reduce the duration of the original multi-phase scheme by 4 months.
Kwik-Klik has FIRAS accreditation to install Fire Rated hoardings in public spaces and our hoardings are certified for use by London Underground Ltd after passing stringent tests.
The bright, well-lit passenger tunnels create a sense of ‘business as usual’ throughout the the station’s redevelopment, and the acoustic noise suppression qualities of our system improve the passenger experience.
