Kwik-Klik installed a 55 linear metre Fire Rated temporary pedestrian tunnel on the ground floor of Fulham FC’s new £80 million Riverside Stand to allow fans safe passage into and out of the new stand.
The temporary tunnel was required to allow Fulham fans safe access to the lower tier of the new stand during the final stages of completion work in the stand’s entrance area which backs on to the River Thames.
The tunnel was configured to achieve a 3kN crowd loading and a full set of engineer’s drawing were signed off by Building Control featuring the bespoke sizes and angles required.
Kwik-Klik configured its versatile 1 hour Fire Rated hoarding panel system and incorporated a 110v plug & play lighting system with emergency power back-up. Six sets of fire rated double-leaf personnel doors were also built into the tunnel.
The temporary tunnel was completed on time to a tight deadline before Fulham’s first home fixture of the 2024-25 Premier League season against Leicester City.
