Sephora’s first store to open in the north of England, at The Trafford Centre in Manchester, was a big event, demanding a huge brand presence in the run up to opening and for its initial trading period. While the store itself was under construction, Kwik-Klik installed the storefront hoarding and applied the distinctive Sephora black and white branding, complete with teaser ‘Manchester, you called it!’.

A Trafford Centre Takeover!

Then, it was over to our Graphics Team, working alongside other partners, to flood the shopping centre with Sephora branding. This spanned a range of display media. Our contribution to the overall effect included covering stairs and floors, applying graphics on glass balustrades along landings and staircases, large format wall mural graphic, column wraps, external column banners, and entrance door graphics.

Centre stage was the giant iconic Sephora bag which was suspended from the distinctive Trafford Centre arched ceiling. Weighing around 240kg, we not only designed and fabricated it, but we also oversaw the installation which required a spider crane, 17m cherry picker, and a team of installers.

The Sephora branding will be around for a few weeks, but this is not the last you’ll see of the huge bag; it will be setting out on its travels once its work is done at the Trafford Centre, to be repurposed in other locations and future launches.
