Kwik-Klik created a bespoke indoor white PVC hoarding in the centre of the spacious Orient Food Court at the heart of Manchester’s Trafford Centre.
45 linear metres of our best-selling white PVC Freestanding system was installed in one night around the Orient Pool which was to be removed and tiled over during a 15 week refurbishment project.
As the photographs show, the versatile self-supported hoarding, which requires no drilling into the floor, was configured around the contours of the Orient Pool creating a secure internal work area for works to begin.
Dust-proof temporary roof
A dust-proof plastic sheeting roof was attached to the top of the hoarding and a hermetic seal was achieved by heating up the plastic sheeting to create sealed joints at the edges.
A digi-lock double personnel door was built into the hoarding to allow secure access to trades personnel.
All components of our Freestanding PVC hoarding system are are re-usable. PVC off-cuts are 100% recyclable, delivering a sustainable solution for the site.
