Kwik-Klik has attached over 150 linear metres of its Clip-to-Scaffold Building Protection PVC hoarding system to the external scaffold frame at Manchester Science Museum.
The museum is undergoing a long-term upgrade programme and our Clip-to-Scaffold hoarding provides robust protection of the building’s Victorian façade at street level.
The re-usable PVC Kwik-Klik hoarding replaces a white painted timber hoarding which can be seen in two of the photographs on the right.
The ‘before’ and ‘after’ photographs illustrate the many benefits of our PVC system compared to timber – including a superior non-fade appearance, weatherproof performance and smooth surfaces which will not splinter or snag.
Our Clip-to-Scaffold system is 100% re-usable and PVC off-cuts are 100% recyclable, delivering a sustainable solution for the site.
The Kwik-Klik installation team were on site for 5 days and the hoarding will remain in place until the Museum’s far-reaching programme of internal and external refurbishment work is complete.
