Kwik-Klik installed 145 linear metres of our robust Kentledge hoarding system outside the main entrance of the British Museum in North London.

The entire public-facing surfaces of the hoarding (including doors and top & bottom trims) were covered in ‘sandstone’ coloured large format vinyl wraps which were expertly designed, printed and applied by our in-house Graphics team, led by Tony Stead.

Our experienced Graphics team were on site for two days and ensured all aspects of the museum’s exacting standards were met in full.

The 2.4m high hoarding used recycled white PVC panels, scaffold poles and stacked concrete blocks to create a secure compound enclosing a lawned area outside the museum’s main entrance.

Robust, professional and sustainable

The re-usable Kentledge system at the British Museum created a stable and professional hoarding to protect visitors and exhibition teams during a temporary exhibition, outside the museum building.

The hoarding featured a built-in Digi-lock Personnel Door and a set of Vehicular Gates to allow full access to trades and museum staff.

Unlike timber hoardings, all components of the Kentledge system are reusable after the hoarding has been dismantled and cleaned.
