Kwik-Klik installed 176 linear metres of our versatile PVC Freestanding hoarding on three floors of East Surrey College in Redhill.
The 2.4m high hoarding was used to create secure corridors for staff and students to safely enter classrooms around the perimeter of the building as floor work upgrades tookplace in the vast central atrium.
The re-usable and re-locatable Freestanding system requires no drilling into the floor, so it can sit on carpeted landings and tiled floors without causing remedial works after removal.
Following a site visit, the bespoke hoarding configuration included two 15kg weights for each baseplate and an additional 12 linear metre run of 3m high hoarding. Four single digi-lock personnel doors and two digi-lock double doors were built into the hoarding to allow secure access for contractor teams throughout the programme.
A Kwik-Klik team of four installed the hoarding over four days and a quick turnaround allowed the contractors to stay on programme.
Our re-usable and lightweight PVC hoarding panels were specified as a quicker, safer and cleaner alternative to timber hoarding panels which would have caused significant delays and created site-wide problems with carrying panels upstairs and sawdust.
