Kwik-Klik teamed up with acoustic specialist, Echo Barrier, to create a large-scale noise suppression solution during a major upgrade of TfL’s Ealing Common Depot.

Ealing Common is one of the oldest London Underground rail depots and the client required extensive acoustic screening in several areas within the huge site.

As well as using large expanses of Echo Barrier to cover main walls and temporary partition walls, the panels were also used to cover individual office windows above the Store building in EC1 shed.

Kwik-Klik also installed temporary 2.4m high Fire Rated hoardings with built-in double personnel doors and white vertical dust protection sheets – running from the top of hoarding to roof height within the structure. These can be seen on the left in the long view photo of the shed interior.
